DR. Vivek Thakare
M.S F.R.C.S Ophthalmology
Dr. Vivek Thakare is a visiting cornea consultant. He did his MS and FRCS in ophthalmology and completed a long term cornea fellowship at Ganpati Nethralaya, Jalna, where he also worked as a consultant. He manages the cornea department at Dr. Bapaye hospital department and has a special interest in corneal ulcers and keratoconus.
DR. Janvi Shah
D.N.B Ophthalmology
Dr. Janvi Shah is a visiting glaucoma consultant. She completed her DNB ophthalmology and did a long term fellowship in glaucoma at the prestigious Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai. She is experienced in glaucoma diagnosis, lasers, and surgeries. Her compassionate attitude makes her popular amongst patients.
OPTOMETRISTS:
The ophthalmic OPD has 5-6 trained optometrists who assist in Clinical examination, Diagnostics, Contact lens clinic, Counseling, Low Vision Aids, etc.
TRAINED NURSING STAFF:
The nursing staff is senior and experienced both inpatient care and assisting all kinds of ophthalmic surgeries. Apart from their formal training, they have been personally trained by Dr. Manohar and Meena Bapaye. There are 3 nurses, with special training in pediatric care. Regular training and up-gradation sessions are carried out for the staff.
