Dr. Meena and Dr. Manohar Bapaye started their practice in the city of Nashik on 15th August 1975. They were both one of the earliest specialists in their respective fields of Urology and Ophthalmology. In response to their increasing patient load, they shifted to the present premises in 1983. Dr. Bapaye Hospital is a specialty hospital in Ophthalmology was founded on 16^th October 1983. For the last 37 years, Dr.Bapaye Eye Hospital has been at the forefront of the latest developments in the fields of Ophthalmology and Urology. Dr. Meena and Dr. Manohar continue to practice with zeal.

In 2005, they are joined by Dr. Maneesh Bapaye, Retinal surgeon, and Dr. Charuta Bapaye, Pediatric Ophthalmologist trained in the best of institutions in India and abroad, in their endeavor. At Dr. Bapaye Eye Hospital, we strive to bring the best and latest technology and training to serve our patients effectively. Each patient undergoes detailed thorough eye check-up and necessary investigations and explained in detail about treatment options. Treatment for various different eye diseases is carried out to bring light to the patient’s eyes and smile to their lips. It’s our patients that make us a premier eye institute in Nashik and Maharashtra.

In keeping with the policy of constant up-gradation, it was the first hospital in Nashik to receive Entry Level NABH Certification in 2017. The hospital has a team of specialists who work together to deliver state of the art eye care to our patients. We also provide cashless facilities to almost all insurance and TPA companies. LOCATION: One of the most advantageous features of Dr. Bapaye Hospital is its location in the heart of the city, a 2-minute walk from the central bus stand, facilitating easy accessibility from all corners of Nashik, as well as nearby villages. The hospital is located in the spacious premises of 6000 sq.ft.

OPD: The 3 storied building houses 6 ophthalmic OPD rooms. The ophthalmic OPD facilities include a primary examination area, 4 air-conditioned consultation rooms, a Diagnostic Facility room, a Laser room, a Counseling room, and a child-friendly pediatric OPD.

WAITING AREA: The waiting area is spacious and can house 40 patients at a time. There is a separate air-conditioned VIP waiting for the lounge.

DRUG AND OPTICAL STORE: There are a drug store and an optical store on the premises for the benefit of the patients. The optical store offers a whole range of frames including pediatric and all modern kinds of lenses. It also provides more specialized glasses like progressive and prism glasses.

LIFT: Access to the upper floors is facilitated by a lift for aged patients.

OPERATING ROOMS: The OT complex on the 2^nd floor includes an ophthalmic OT with 2 tables, a minor OT, a sterilization area, a doctor’s room, and a changing area. The sterilization unit includes autoclaving and ETO facilities. In addition, gamma-ray sterilization is performed at BARC for all instruments with the aim of leaving no chance for post-operative infections. The OT is well equipped with central oxygen, Boyle’s machine, defibrillator, and constant electrical back up.  There is a fully equipped facility for safe pediatric anesthesia including Sevoflurane, and experienced senior pediatric anesthetists.

INDOOR: The indoor facility includes a general ward, a day-care room, two semi – special rooms, two special rooms, and an air-conditioned deluxe room. All rooms are equipped with intercoms for easy communication.

GENERATOR BACK-UP:  The hospital has a 20Kv generator for constant electrical back-up to ensure unhindered patient care.

COFFEE SHOP: Coffee and refreshments are available for patients during the day.
